As we enter the Fall season and near the end of the Summer season of our tenth anniversary year, we have been blessed to greet guests the last few months from all over the world to The Firelight Inn in Duluth, Minnesota.
Guests have arrived from the states of Washington, California, Idaho, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, Colorado, Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, Michigan, Maine and Maryland. At our front door were travelers who traveled shorter distances from South and North Dakota, Iowa, Wisconsin and many from Minnesota. We were thrilled to host Gendron Jensen, a world-renown artist a/k/a the “Bone Man” whose art exhibit was at the Tweed Museum of Art at the University of Minnesota/Duluth (UMD) and the Northern Prints Gallery. He lives in Taos County, New Mexico and had most recently spent time in Isle Royale, Michigan on the anniversary of the original dedication of Isle Royale National Park. We had long chats with Gendron about life, love and religion. Other charming guests came from Switzerland, Buenos Aires, Argentina, Japan, Athens, France, Hamburg Germany and London, England to explore Duluth, Minnesota and the hospitality of The Firelight Inn on Oregon Creek Bed and Breakfast. We were thrilled to greet many returning guests who visit us the same time each year for a special time away celebrating an anniversary, birthday, an event in Canal Park or just a north shore getaway. We so enjoy catching up on the latest news about kids, family, careers, travel and pets.
We spend many evenings with guests in the front porch with a glass of wine or on the leather couches in the Firelight room by the warmth of the firelight! We look forward to many more visits with good friends here at The Firelight Inn.
