From the glass-enclosed front porch of The Firelight Inn Bed and Breakfast this evening, guests enjoyed a rainbow over Lake Superior that appeared after a brief rain storm in Duluth, Minnesota. The view into the ravine below is also heavenly as the foliage in Oregon Creek has sun shining on it and the creek has a little more water as it flows to Gitchi Gummee in a serene flowing sound. Mother Nature has perfected the secluded setting on the dead end street next to Oregon Creek with all the leaves on the trees which provides a beautiful, nature-like private setting for the Inn.
We have guests that returned to spend a three-day weekend with us at the Inn for their 17th stay since The Firelight Inn B&B opened in June, 1998. We are looking forward to dinner with them tomorrow evening to celebrate their faithfulness as returning guests of ours.
Other guests are enjoying the inn as they celebrate their 5th and 10th anniversaries and a romantic weekend getaway with relaxation massages, fruit, cheese and cracker platters, romance baskets and champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
We hope to see you on your next trip to Duluth!
