Travel to Duluth and stay at The Firelight Inn during April

There is an event to enjoy each day when you travel to Duluth MN in April 2011 and stay at The Firelight Inn Duluth Bed and Breakfast.

My friend and Artist Chris Dillon has her “Images in Watercolor” exhibit April 1-30th at the Just For The Season Gallery at the main level of the Holiday Center, 207 West Superior Street in Duluth. The opening reception is Friday, April 8th from 4-7 p.m.

The Duluth Playhouse presents “Chicago” on April 1-3, 6-10, and 13-17, 2011 at The Duluth Playhouse, 506 West Michigan Street in Duluth.

The 45th Annual Arrowhead Home & Builders Show is at the Duluth Entertainment and Convention Center on April 6-10. Everything you need to build, decorate, landscape, repair or remodel your home at one giant event.

The Second Harvest Northern Lakes Food Bank 17th Annual Empty Bowl Fundraiser is April 26th from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. at The Depot. This is the region’s premiere charitable arts and hunger event. Participants choose a handcrafted bowl created by area artists, school children and community, done on delicious soup, bread and beverage prepared by the area’s best chefs and purveyors and participate in a Silent Auction including the works of our region’s best potters and artists.

You can also enjoy great comedy at Dubh Linn Pub, the Duluth Superior Symphony Orchestra, Glensheen and Fairlawn Mansions, The Renegade Comedy Theatre, UMD Theatre Department and “Ole and Lena’s Wedding” at the Fitger’s Dinner Theatre.
