We want to give you just a little sample of your breakfast at the Firelight Inn, Duluth, MN.

During your stay at our Minnesota bed and breakfast, your breakfast will be delivered to the intimate setting of your suite in a basket to be enjoyed by the firelight, or we can serve you at the formal dining room table or weather permitting on the glass-enclosed front porch of the Inn.

Our specialty of delivering your full breakfast to the privacy of your suite includes a delicious hot entrée on china under stainless steel plate covers, a dish or goblet of seasonal fruit, a basket of warm fresh muffins, scones, or sweet bread, a pot of freshly ground Alakef coffee or a pot of hot water with a selection of premium teas, fruit juice, silverware, cloth napkins and place mats, salt and pepper and cream and sugar. A carafe of milk may be included upon request.

All of the above-mentioned items are presented in an large wicker basket with handles that appears outside your door between 9:00 and 9:30 a.m. Our guests are encouraged to help themselves to complimentary soda, spring water, candy, home-made cookies, coffee and tea in the original butler’s pantry of the mansion.

Once you return home, you can enjoy some of the recipes from our breakfast menu courtesy of The Firelight Inn. Firelight Inn Cookbooks are available in our gift shop or at our online gift shop.
