The Isle Royale Suite on the second floor of the historic mansion features unique and original architectural detail including the original eight-piece crown molding and plate rail which holds a beautiful collection of Cape Cod Crystal. The suite decor features a deep red floral, is very romantic and has everything you need for your getaway.  Isle Royale offers a queen-size brass feather bed, private bathroom with shower, toilet and pedestal sink, a luxurious double whirlpool for two across from the gas fireplace, upholstered chaise lounge chair for reading or relaxing, a dining table and chairs by the window facing Lake Superior, state-of-the-art air conditioning and TV/VCR/DVD, audio system, CD player and IPod docking station.  From the window facing Lake Superior you can view the big lake and the sun rise in the morning! 

Fridays and Saturdays are reserved together for a two-night minimum weekend stay.  One night Friday or Saturday night stays are often available and Saturdays and Sundays may be reserved together at weekend rates--give us a call!

Your careful attention to detail shows throughout the inn. We loved the room surprises such as snacks, ice bucket, music, a cozy chaise lounge, and homemade cookies.
