At our historic Minnesota bed and breakfast inn, you will receive the personalized service of a B&B along with wonderful and inviting accommodations. All overnight stays include a full breakfast every morning delivered to your suite or eaten on the front porch or outdoor deck or in the dining room, home baked cookies, snacks and a Flavia Beverage Machine in the butler's pantry. The Firelight Inn provides the amenities and attention to detail you would expect at a luxury hotel. As our guest you will also have the use of the VCR, DVD and CD library, comfortable common areas of the Inn, and the services of the innkeepers to assist in making your stay a treasured memory.

We would be happy to help you with your special occasion needs. We offer a variety of Special Packages to enhance your Duluth, MN vacation or weekend getaway. Special added extras such as wine and champagne, flowers, massage therapy, a honeymoon treasure chest, picnic lunches, soup suppers, cheese, fruit and cracker platters, or romance baskets can be quickly arranged by calling the innkeepers in advance of your stay.

For the privacy and relaxation of our adult guests, guests over the age of 17 are welcome. Sorry, no pets. Check-in time begins at 3PM. Checkout time is 11AM. The minimum stay is two nights on the weekends; therefore, Friday and Saturday nights are reserved together.  During November and December, 2009 one night Friday or Saturday night stays are available.  We may make exceptions to this policy for Saturday and Sunday night stays at weekend rates.

Three night minimum stays are required for special event dates of Grandma's Marathon starting on Friday night. The Grandma's event also requires full payment by check or money order at the time of your reservation and is non-refundable after that time.

One night stays are available Sunday through Thursday.  Please call us for special pricing for reservations of three or more days.  Reservations are held and confirmed with a major credit card. You must cancel your reservations at least 21 days of your stay. If you make a last-minute cancellation (within 21 days of your stay), you are fully obligated for your entire stay. Reservations made within 21 days of your stay will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made, are non-refundable and refunds will not be given for early departures. In the case of inclement weather management may run your card and issue a gift certificate for another stay at their discretion.

If your reservation is made more than 90 days from your stay, and you have not stayed at The Firelight Inn in the past, one-half of your total bill will be charged to your credit card when your reservation is made. If your reservation is canceled outside of our 21 day policy, we will refund your charges minus a $50 cancellation fee.
