The Firelight Inn on Oregon Creek Bed and Breakfast Policies
At our historic inn on Minnesota’s North Shore, you will receive the personalized service of a B&B and the wonderful and inviting accommodations, amenities, and attention to detail you would expect when lodging at a luxury hotel. We try to provide everything possible to assist in making your stay a treasured memory.
We would be happy to help you with your special occasion needs! We offer a variety of special packages to enhance your vacation or weekend getaway such as wine and champagne, flowers, a honeymoon or anniversary treasure chest, cheese, fruit and cracker platters, or romance baskets. Any of these details can be quickly arranged by calling the innkeepers in advance of your stay.
In order to offer the utmost in privacy and relaxation, guests over the age of 17 are welcome. We have no accommodations for children under 17. Sorry, no pets. Check-in time begins at 3pm and guests need to check in before 9 p.m. Check-in time on Saturday is between 3 and 5 p.m. Check-out time is 11 a.m. We will ask you to remove your shoes in the front entry so bring your slippers if you wish.
The minimum stay is two nights on the weekends; therefore, Friday and Saturday nights require a two-night stay. One-night stays are often available for a last-minute reservation so give us a call. One nights stays Sunday through Thursday nights are usually available. Holiday weekends require at least a two-night, Saturday – Sunday stay.
Three-night minimum stays are required for special event dates of Grandma’s Marathon and the Tall Ships Festival. These events require full payment at the time of your reservation and are non-refundable after that time. We no longer redeem Minnesota Bed and Breakfast and BedandBreakfast.com gift certificates.
Deposits, Cancellations and Refunds
A deposit equivalent to one-half of your stay including tax is required at the time you make your reservation. Reservations for a one-night stay with us will be paid in full at the time of your reservation and our normal cancellation policy applies. Reservations made within 21 days of your stay will be charged to your credit card at the time the reservation is made and are non-refundable.
If you cancel before 21 days of your arrival, you will incur a $50 cancellation fee and the balance of your deposit will be refunded to your credit card. If you need to cancel your stay, you must call The Firelight Inn on Oregon Creek Bed and Breakfast and speak with someone on the telephone. Email cancellations are not valid. There are no refunds on early departures.
One of the registered guests staying with us must have a valid credit card with adequate credit to cover the total charges of your stay and a valid expiration date through the day of your stay. If you want to pay for someone else to stay at The Firelight Inn–please consider purchasing a gift certificate for them. They can make their reservations for a date that work for them.
If you are with a group that is renting more than two rooms, a 25% facility usage fee will be added to each rooms’ bill.
In the case of inclement weather and travel is impossible, the owners may charge your credit card and issue a gift certificate for another stay at their discretion.
