Northern Prints Gallery, 318 North 14th Avenue East, Duluth 55805 (218)724-3089/5212. Cecilia Lieder is the Director of the Northern Prints Gallery. She has been a printmaker for over 35 years. Her work in color woodcut and stone lithography is nationally known. She is one of the founders and the Director of the Northern Printmakers Alliance, and she also serves on the Duluth Public Arts Commission. Her work is remarkable for its rich color, strong form, and sensitivity to the northern landscape. Much of her work is displayed and is for sale at The Firelight Inn. The Northern Prints Gallery is dedicated exclusively to the artist-made original print. All forms of traditional and contemporary printmaking by fine artists are represented. The gallery artists are members of the Northern Printmakers Alliance and either live in this region or have a long and continuing association with it. The subject matter of the gallery’s prints is not, however, confined to any style or content. Excellence in printmaking is their primary focus.
