I need to mention that all the food made here at The Firelight Inn is made from local ingredients purchased from local sustainable markets in the Duluth area. Our signature Firelight Inn sugar cookies made here everyday are in the “never empty cookie jar” in the historic butler’s pantry.
Our historic building is 99 years old this year and was built by George G. Barnum (a distant relative of P.T. Barnum of the famous circus) nestled on a quiet secluded dead end street on an acre of land. We are proud to carry on Mr. Barnum’s traditions of hospitality and welcoming.
As I look back to all of the days of the past eleven years, I can’t think of another business that is so fulfilling, intimate, and rewarding as the bed and breakfast business. If you are looking to getaway why not make Duluth, MN; and more importantly, The Firelight Inn your destination of choice. We will shower you with unsurpassed hospitality, the finest amenities, and a beautiful, elegant, and relaxed atmosphere. Give us a try–you will be glad you did–like the hundreds of guests that enter our front door each year.
We look forward to greeting you at The Firelight Inn on Oregon Creek Bed and Breakfast on your next trip to Duluth!
