A lot of people hear the wrong stories about bed and breakfasts but The Firelight Inn on Oregon Creek Bed and Breakfast in Duluth Minnesota does not disappoint! Our guests in our Northwoods Suite last weekend left us this entry in the guest journal.
Shawn and Kayla live in Indiana and stayed in our Northwoods suite over the weekend. Shawn is an independent contractor who is currently working in the Northern part of Minnesota. Kayla drove seven and a half hours from Indiana to Minnesota to meet Shawn and spend the weekend together. Shawn and Kayla chose our Inn for their getaway.
They enjoyed spending time in Duluth, getting massages at a nearby spa, having breakfast delivered to their suite each morning and taking long bubble baths in the Jacuzzi for two.
Staying at a bed and breakfast might not be for everybody but we would like to think it is a “better way to stay” away from home. At our Duluth bed and breakfast Inn, each suite features a fireplace, Jacuzzi whirlpool for two, luxurious amenities and your full gourmet breakfast is delivered to your suite each morning at 9 a.m. Shawn and Kayla enjoyed Pecan Sausage Casserole, Lemon Fruit Compote and Pear Muffins on Saturday morning. On Sunday morning their breakfast included Wild Rice Quiche, Fresh Fruit with Yogurt, and Glazed Pumpkin Scones. The breakfast basket includes cloth linens, a pot of Alakef coffee and a pitcher of orange juice.
As we said goodbye to our guests and asked how their stay with us was, Shawn’s comment was “I loved it!”
We would love the opportunity to be your hosts on your next trip to Duluth!
