Cooking Class and Dinner Party in Duluth, MN
Watch and learn from a professional chef! Cooking classes at our bed and breakfast can be reserved when your group of 10 people (five suites) reserves the entire inn for a two night stay on the weekend. This weekend getaway for two adults (within a group of ten adults) includes two nights’ lodging, Saturday and Sunday morning breakfast, Saturday afternoon cooking class, snacks and refreshments, four-course dinner for two with wine, and a gift basket in your suite upon arrival.
Check in Friday evening and relax, then spend Saturday afternoon learning new cooking techniques by participating in and watching cooking demonstrations from 2-4 p.m. After that “hang out” in the kitchen while our Chef prepares our four-course gourmet dinner served to your group at 6 p.m. The four-course Italian dinner may include:
- Fresh Gnocchi: Brown Butter, Parmesan, Garlic, Sage and Oregano
- Caprese Salad: Fresh Tomatoes, Mozzarella, Basil Leaves, Balsamic Vinegar and Olive Oil
- Fresh Fettuccine: Shrimp, Asparagus, Tomatoes, Basil, Parmesan Cheese tossed in Lemon Garlic Oil
- Tiramisu: Light Sponge Cake with Marscarpone Filling, Cocoa Powder and Marsala Zabaglione
During the “quiet season” November 1 through mid May, the king-size suites cost $850 and the queen-size suites cost $800 for the special cooking class and dinner party weekend. During the busy “tourist season” mid May through October the king-size suites cost $950 and the queen-size suites cost $900 for the special cooking class and dinner party weekend.
